These terms and conditions apply to all sales transactions between Harolds Traditional Style Shaving Soap and any other person, firm or company (the purchaser).

To make a purchase

Select the item required and the amount required from the sales menu, then click add to cart. When the cart is full, click, and you will be asked for some details which we will require to complete your order.
We accept payments via all major credit card and debit cards through secure online payments with Pay Pal.

Remittance terms

Any and all goods will only be dispatched when full payment has been received and approved.


It is important to us that all customers receive the best possible service. We endeavour to dispatch orders within 48 hours and expect delivery to be received within 5 working days on full completion of order of purchase. Delivery is free.
Note Unfortunately, at present, we can only dispatch to mainland UK.
Royal Mail delivery protocols stand. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the recipient or representative there-of is present at the address to sign for delivery if required. Under usual circumstances, however, this should not be required.
If the delivery is unable to be made via usual methods, and special delivery instructions to leave the order in a safe place are not received, any loss or damage will be strictly your responsibility. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to any order whilst in transit. Any damaged goods delivered correctly must be reported to us within 7 days.
We offer a no-quibble refund service for any goods you feel do not meet standards expected of us. We reserve the right to charge a handling fee of up to 20% if products returned are found to of a reasonable standard and require re-packaging.
If any delivery is returned to us by the carrier a redelivery will not take place, the order will be cancelled and a full refund will be made to the payee.
We will endeavour and make every reasonable effort to meet all dispatch deadlines, however we cannot be held responsible or liable for loss, delay, damage or delivery failure resulting from any cause beyond our reasonable control, such as but not limited to law a regulatory compliance, acts of God, acts of military or civil authorities, judicial action, sub-contractor or supply delays or default, labour dispute, transport delays, civil or military embargo, civil unrest or war.

Customer complaints and customer service

The purchaser should contact us immediately with any problems. Our policy is deal with all problems within 5 working days, however most problems can be dealt with within hours.


We always endeavour to provide a quality service that matches our quality product, however, if you are not wholly satisfied with the standard of the product you received, you must contact Harolds within 7 days of the receipt of your order. We will then replace it upon receipt of the returned unsatisfactory products.


We cannot at all times wholly guarantee our website to be free of defects or errors and to be constantly online.

Privacy policy

We will only collect information from you that is necessary for us to process your order and provide a quality service. All information that you provide will only be used lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Product variation

The customer needs to be aware that that our product is handmade and as such may, at times, be subject to slight colour and textural variations.

Returns policy

All customers, if not satisfied with their purchase, have the right to cancel their order and return goods within 14 days of receipt and a full refund will be made including return postage, provided the product remains in full merchantable condition and remains in original packaging.
Damaged goods and shortage must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt. Damaged goods will be replaced free of charge, any shortfall of order will be forwarded as soon as possible at no further cost.

None of the above terms and conditions affect your statutory rights as a customer.
